According to Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla, his company anticipated President Donald J. Trump’s tariffs on China.
““We already have the (manufacturing) network (built in the U.S.) and don’t have to build it . . . Some are mega, mega sites” that can handle (the transfer of its China drug production) . . . “quickly.”
Bourla said Pfizer “already has the “largest manufacturing network of any other (drug) company.”
It has 13 plants in America and plans to build more.
The tariffs will result in lower drug costs for consumers.
How much of Pfizer’s output is in China?
As a result of its production transfer from China, how much will Pfizer’s drug output in America increase?
How many jobs will it create?
When Pfizer responds, their answers update this story.
