Former Lead Prosecutor in the Konnech $2.7 million embezzlement case reinstated
Eric Neff was reinstated to the Los Angeles Prosecutors’ Office (LADA) on April 4th.
Neff was the former Lead Prosecutor in the $2.7 million embezzlement and conspiracy case against Konnech CEO Eugene Yu.
Konnech makes and sells election software called PollChief.
The case against Yu was dismissed on November 17th, 2022.
Neff was suspended a week later.
He has been reassigned to the Welfare Fraud Unit, a demotion.
The criminal charges against Yu were dismissed without prejudice in November 2022.
“Without prejudice” means the case can be refiled.
Did Neff receive back pay?
Was he hired back at the same pay scale?
Was it lower?
Details are unknown.
According to Neff’s attorney, Tom Yu, a “Claim for Damages” must be filed before a lawsuit can.
On April 17th, a claim for $10 million was filed.
A copy of it is nine pages and is linked here:

Why did LADA George Gascon drop the charges against Eugene?
He said he “didn’t want to help Donald Trump.”
Gascon is up for re-election in November.
He has survived two recall attempts because votes were flipped in his favor.
Konnech’s software contracts allow third parties like Scytl, another election software company, to access and send LA’s election data globally.
Scytl has offices in:
Amsterdam, Netherlands
Barcelona, Spain
Brussels, Belgium
London
Malta
San Francisco
Details are in this story, along with a copy of LA’s contract with Konnech:
LA County still uses PollChief software.
And so do thousands of County Election Boards.
It will used to flip votes to re-elect the President and Congress on Nov. 5th.
It sends its customers’ election data to Beijing and Wuhan, China.
Grant Bradley, a former Konnech employee, managed Konnech programmers in Wuhan from Lansing, Michigan.
In his affidavit, he said Konnech’s election data was sent to China from the U.S.

Eugene’s five-million-dollar smile is pictured above.
LA County wrote Konnech a check for that amount on Jan. 23rd.
He said he was “arrested without probable cause.”
Even though a Judge signed a warrant to search his home, phone, car, and two business locations in Lansing, Michigan.
