7800 Guardsmen added as deputies to protect the Capitol on Jan. 20th
According to a press release dated Jan. 3rd, the Pentagon will deploy 7,800 unarmed National Guardsmen to protect the Capitol, not Trump on Jan. 20th.
It is the day Donald J. Trump is inaugurated President.
Until then, Joe Biden remains Commander-in-Chief of the Military.

Guardsmen can be deputized as special police, a role that active duty military cannot.

The Secret Service’s Eric Ranaghan is responsible for designing and implementing the security plan for Trump’s Presidential Inaugural Events on Jan. 20th.
He heads their Dignitary Protective Division.
On Jan. 20th, 2021, the Pentagon deployed 20,000 armed National Guardsmen to protect Joe Biden after he stole the Presidential Election from Donald J. Trump.
National Guard troops are inside the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center to reinforce security at the Capitol in Washington. It comes a week after the FBI led a fake insurrection at the Capitol on Jan. 6th, 2021, by hiring 26 informants.

Instead of calling them FBI informants, the Inspector General called them CHS or Confidential Human Sources.
