CNN is on the chopping block in merger deals
Regardless of who buys Warner Bros., CNN is an unprofitable network about to be closed down.
In Netflix’s deal to buy Warner Bros., Netflix doesn’t want to buy CNN because it loses money.

However, CNN is part of Paramount’s deal to buy Warner Bros.
Paramount owns CBS.
Neither wants to keep CNN either.
