According to Lincoln Property Company, the developer for the Browns, less than ten percent of the total project is for the football stadium.
Here is their photo of it:
The stadium is in the middle of the above photo. It has a shiny, slanted roof.
The Browns’ project is to make money from:
300,000 square feet of retail for food, bars, and souvenir shopping
two upscale hotels
1,100 apartments
500,000 square feet of office space
450 hotel rooms
575 apartments
team store
West of the orange stadium site are railroad tracks.
Trains will block the entrance or exit to the stadium on game day or other events.
The intention is to pack the restaurants and bars after the game, as fans can’t get to their cars.
Across the street from the new Browns site is Hopkins International Airport.
The noise from air traffic will drown out headset communications, verbal play-calling, and crowd noise during the game and at other stadium events, such as concerts.
Who came up with the idea to build a new Browns stadium next to a major airport?
The scoreboard is in the shape of the state of Tennessee.
