The U.S. and Indonesia opened joint NATO military drills with a ceremony on Wednesday morning.
It was in Baturaja, a coastal town in South Sumatra province.

According to the Pentagon, the purpose of Garuda Shield is to train soldiers for the United Nations (UN) “peacekeeping” missions around the world to quell domestic terrorist situations.
Military exercises in Indonesia continue until Aug. 14th.
The annual UN military training missions in Indonesia have been ongoing since 2009.

Indonesia has replaced Ukraine as the world’s Biolab to develop COVID-19 vaccines for children.

The military operation is called “Super Garuda Shield”.

The State Department said that the U.S. donated 35 million Covid-19 vaccines to Indonesia.
UNICEF said that Indonesia had the lowest Covid-19 vaccination rate in the world.
They asked for immediate action from the UN to vaccinate Indonesia’s children six months and older.
According to the United Nations (UN), Indonesia’s population of 279,542,137 is the fourth largest in the world.

UNICEF is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the UN just like WHO (World Health Organization).
The World Health Organization (WHO) is fast-tracking Indonesia’s Covid-19 for worldwide distribution.
In anticipation of WHO’s approval, Indonesia combined three state-owned drug making companies into one on Feb. 5th, 2020.
The new company is called Holding Bumn Pharmaceuticals.

PT Bio Farma (Persero)

Japan Ground Self-Defense Force paratroopers
The Strait of Malacca, on the northern coast of Indonesia, is the choke point for China’s oil imports.
It is less than two miles wide.
That route supplies China with 80% of its energy needs.
A blockade in that Strait shuts down China, according to the Naval Institute.
