Extension of Trump order suspends midterm elections

President Donald J. Trump

President Donald J. Trump’s Executive Order declaring foreign interference in elections expires on Sept. 12th.

Another one-year extension gives the President authority to suspend midterm elections.

It only affects federal offices like Congress.

State and local ballot issues on the Nov. 3rd ballot remain.
