FCC is investigating Google for censoring free speech, ABC, and others over DEI
Last week, Brendan Carr, Chairman of the FCC, said open investigations against media and big tech companies are ongoing based on illegal:
hiring practices based on DEI instead of merit and
censoring free speech.
Carr’s comments are in the above video from last week.
Please fast forward to ten minutes and 26 seconds.
The media companies under investigation are:
ABC
CBS
Comcast
Disney
NBC
NPR
PBS
The FCC or Federal Communications Commission:
enforces communications laws
issues broadcasting licenses and
revokes them.
DEI stands for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
As a result, these companies will lose their licenses to broadcast.
The only question is when.
Other FCC targets are Big Tech companies:
Alphabet (Google)
Amazon
Apple
Google
Meta (Facebook)
According to Carr, the first company:
to lose its broadcasting license is CNN
fined for censoring free speech is Google.
