Isolation is no longer recommended for people who have tested negative for COVID-19, according to new guidelines issued by the World Health Organization (WHO) on Friday.
Instead of calling their policies “mandates,” WHO calls them “recommendations” or “guidelines.”
However, “masks continue to be a key tool against COVID-19”, said WHO’s press release imaged below.
WHO’s announcement was released again yesterday to increase public awareness.

The same guidelines were issued on Dec. 21st. 2021 by the CDC.
