Biden ignores pleas to save the church in Bethlehem

President Joe Biden visited the Church of the Nativity today in Bethlehem, Israel.

The church was built over the birthplace of Jesus Christ around the year 300.

The sources are the White House and the Jerusalem Patriarchate of the Greek Orthodox Church.

Patriarch Theophilos III is the head of this Christian church.

He requested American help directly from the President to protect his church from being destroyed.

The Patriarch said Christians in the area are being killed for practicing their faith.

His public remarks are in this press release from this morning:

The White House had no comment.

After the photo shoot, the President promptly announced $301 million in grants to Palestine.
