How can Mrs. Tina Peters, 70, be released on bond pending her appeal of a nine-year prison sentence for fake election-related crimes?

Scott T. Varholak, Federal Magistrate Judge in Denver
It was Judge Scott T. Varholak, a Federal Magistrate Judge in Denver, who suggested Peters base her petition to release her on bond on the First Amendment.
Tina Peters’ defense and appeals attorneys missed it.
However, because of budget cuts, Peters’ next federal bond hearing has been delayed.
According to Friday’s press release from the federal judiciary, they are out of money.
Courts start their shutdown tomorrow.

Mrs. Peters is in jail because she said Colorado election officials and Dominion used compromised election systems to steal the 2020 Presidential election.

Judge Matthew Barrett of Mesa County, Colorado, sentenced her to nine years in jail without bond.
He said Mrs. Peters, 71, “was a danger to the community.”
The Colorado State Appeals Court has refused to hear Tina’s appeal.
She has also appealed to the Colorado Federal District Court.
