Trump targets security clearances of law firms
On Tuesday, President Donald J. Trump pulled the security clearances of lawyers working for the Covington law firm.

Federal court records show that Federal Prosecutor Jack Smith paid $35.7 million for legal work in the case of fake Trump classified documents.
Smith placed Covington’s Peter Kosic as the lead criminal prosecutor against Trump.
Kosic does not work for the federal government.
It resulted in a dismissal last month in favor of Trump.
The case number is 23-CR-80101, U.S. vs. Trump, Florida Southern District Court.
Will Jack Smith, Covington, and Peter Kosic pay restitution?
Covington is Eric Holder’s law firm.
