When will the military seize voting systems?
Last Monday, the military was mobilized to defend U.S. election infrastructure against foreign adversaries.
The Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, issued the order.
No details were given.

Hegseth’s order is the War Department’s response to President Donald J. Trump's one-year extension of the national emergency to defend American elections against foreign interference.
The President signed it on August 31st.

According to Executive Order 13848, Section Seven (d), “election infrastructure” means:
information and communications technology and systems used by or on behalf of the Federal Government
or a State or local government in managing the election process, including voter registration databases, voting machines, voting tabulation equipment, and equipment for the secure transmission of election results.

Trump’s original Executive Order about foreign interference in American elections is dated September 18, 2018.
It was renewed annually by the Biden Administration.
To date, no court order or federal law has reversed Executive Order 13848.
Why?
Because it focuses on foreign national security targets and asset freezes under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) passed by Congress on December 28, 1977, as Title II of Public Law 95-223.
